DENTON, Texas (Nov. 6, 2024) - Today, the second week of the NCAA Division II regional rankings were announced. The Texas Woman's soccer team was ranked seventh among the top eight South Central Regional teams in the standings.

Of the eight ranked teams in the South Central Region, five belong to the Lone Star Conference. Dallas Baptist, Angelo State, Midwestern State, and St. Mary's were also considered in the top eight teams in the region.

The Pioneers (10-3-3, 6-2-3) are currently ranked third in the conference, two wins ahead of Lubbock Christian (8-6-3, 6-4-2), who they will play in the regular season finale tomorrow.

The next regional ranking will be published next week in numerical order just as the conference tournament begins.

TWU will conclude the regular season with a match against Lubbock Christian on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. in Lubbock, Texas.
