My Dearest Soccer,

You have been in my life for as long as I can remember, at this point it's been 16 years to be exact. The time we've spent together would now make someone old enough to drive. You've given me so much, from relationships I'll forever cherish to memories I could have never made without you. Our times have been good, but mixed with the hard as is with all things. From heartbreaking losses, to injuries, and now our goodbye which feels bittersweet. You led me in so many directions and to so many places. Having played in colorado, florida, and even TCU; a stadium I never expected to be in, I am grateful for. You helped lead me towards where I would go to school, which I can say with certainty was a blessing being where I am now. It hurts looking back and knowing that our time together is mostly over. As we depart from one another I mourn our loss. Thank you for being a part of my life and being something that I will forever cherish.
