Dear Volleyball,
Nine years ago, I had no idea how much this sport would shape my life and become a part of who I am. From the first time I stepped onto the court, you've been a constant in my life, a source of challenge, growth, and joy.
These past five years at Texas Woman's University have been some of the most rewarding and transformative years of my journey. The hard practices, long road trips, and tough losses were far from easy, but they taught me resilience, discipline, and the power of pushing past my limits. I'll carry those lessons with me for the rest of my life.
I will miss the rush of competition, the feeling of giving everything I have for my team, the thrill of a hard-fought point, and the camaraderie that comes from working toward a shared goal. But more than anything, I will miss the people. My teammates became my family, my coaches became my mentors, and together we created memories I'll cherish forever.
As I say goodbye, I want to thank you, volleyball, for shaping me into the person I am today. You've challenged me in ways I never expected and rewarded me with friendships and memories I'll hold close to my heart. While this chapter is coming to an end, the impact you've had on my life is something I will carry with me always.
