DENTON, Texas (Feb. 22, 2024) – After earning their highest score of the season on Monday, Feb. 19 (195.725), the Texas Woman's gymnastics team travels to Logan, UT for the Utah State quad meet. 

TWU will meet host Utah State, Boise State and Iowa State on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. local time and 8 p.m. central time.

MARCH-IN

• A LOOK AT LAST WEEK: Last week, the Pioneers hosted Alabama, Arkansas and Arizona in the first TWU quad meet of the season. TWU recorded their highest team score of the season (195.725) and a season high on vault (49.050).

• A LOOK AT THE COMPETITION: Iowa State (4-5, 2-2 Big 12) is the No. 29 team in the country with an average score of just over 196. Boise State (8-3, 2-0 Mountain West) is ranked No. 33 just under Iowa State. Host Utah State (4-10, 2-0 Mountain West) is ranked 48th in the nation. 
• PIONEERS SHINING: On Monday's meet, two Pioneers recorded career high scores. Lainey Hunt earned a big 9.650 on bars and Steelie King had a career high performance on floor and recorded a 9.875. The Pioneers will look to continue their momentum on floor and vault in Utah.
