TRIPLE THREAT
  • LAST MEETING: The Pioneers and Eagles met earlier this season on Jan. 5 in Edmond, Okla. TWU claimed the win 65-53. In the win, Scout Huffman went a perfect 7-for-7 from the field for 16 points. Ashley Ingram grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out seven assists. Three Pioneers joined Huffman in double digits – Ingram and Leila Patel finished with 11 points, and Caroline Glud Rasmussen added 10 points. In the win, the Pioneers shot 49.1% from the field and 45.5% from the three point line.
  • HISTORY WITH THE EAGLES: TWU owns the series with a 9-1 all-time record against the Eagles. The Pioneers have won the last seven meetings against OC. TWU has only lost one meeting at home to the Eagles, which was during the 2018 season. The Pioneers' largest margin of victory came on Jan. 6, 2024, when TWU won the meeting 77-52.
  • START STRONG: In their first meeting of the season, TWU held the Eagles to just eight points in both the first and second quarters, as OC only had 16 points at halftime. The strong start helped set the tone for the Pioneers and allow them to build the lead. Starting off strong will be key in the game on Thursday night.
