TWU SOCCER SET FOR ROAD MATCH AT UTPB, PINK OUT SHOWDOWN WITH TAMIU

DENTON, Texas (Oct. 7, 2025) – The Texas Woman's soccer team returns to Pioneer Soccer Park this week, heading to Odessa to face Texas Permian Basin and then hosting Texas A&M International.

TWU (8-1-1, 4-1-1 LSC) will face Texas Permian Basin (2-5-1, 1-5 LSC) on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., followed by a matchup with Texas A&M International (2-4-2, 1-3-1 LSC) on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Park.

PIONEERS IN ODESSA
  • A LOOK AT THE FALCONS:  Texas Permian Basin (2-5-1, 1-5 LSC) Falcons most recently fell to No.3 DBU. This was the first time the Falcons allowed more than one goal in a match this season. Valeria Delgado has allowed only four goals in six matches, recording 25 saves and a .862 save percentage during the month of September, which has led the team's defense.

PINK OUT AT PIONEER SOCCER PARK
  • A LOOK AT THE DUSTDEVILS: Texas A&M International (2-4-2, 1-3-1 LSC) battled hard in their last game against Texas-Dallas, falling 0-1. Latae Rodriguez, their goalkeeper, saved 11 shots out of the 12 in the match. They also fell to No.3 DBU in the game before that 0-3. 
  • A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: Texas Woman's (8-1-1, 4-1-1 LSC) Pioneers came off a 4-0 win last week in a home game against Eastern New Mexico, then went on the road to UT Tyler, ending a match 0-2. The Pioneers outshot the Patriots 19-7, but despite that, this marked the Patriots' first-ever win over TWU in the all-time series.
