TYLER, Texas (Nov. 13, 2025) - The Texas Woman's volleyball team hits the road one final time in the 2025 regular season, traveling east for two pivotal Lone Star Conference matches which will close out conference play and mark the end of their regular-season road journey.
The Pioneers (18–8, 11–4) will face UT Tyler (14–11, 10–5) on Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. inside the Herrington Patriot Center before wrapping up the weekend, and their LSC regular season, at UT Dallas (7–19, 4–11) on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. in the UTD Activity Center.
As the final weekend of conference play arrives, TWU looks to carry its momentum and togetherness into two meaningful matches on the road. The Pioneers have battled through a challenging schedule to position themselves among the top teams in the LSC standings, and this weekend serves as both a test and a celebration, a chance to finish strong and prepare for the postseason road ahead.
TWU currently sits in fourth in the LSC standings. Most recently, the Pioneers were ranked eighth in the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings.Â
FINAL BUS RIDE OF THE REGULAR SEASON
TWU enters the weekend having won six of its last seven matches, fueled by consistent play at the net and a defensive identity that has been its backbone all season. The Pioneers rank among the conference leaders in opponent hitting percentage, .144, and total blocks, .245, showcasing the team's resilience and collective effort.

FINAL REGULAR SEASON ROAD TEST
- A LOOK AT THE PATRIOTS: UT Tyler has been a steady contender in the LSC, averaging 13.5 kills per set on .206 hitting while holding opponents to a .190 clip. Outside hitter Autumn Perry leads the Patriots with 286 kills (3.49 per set), and middle blocker Alyson Robbins adds balance at the net with 130 kills (.336) and 23 blocks. Setter Saige Rivera directs the offense with 631 assists (7.51 per set), and libero Anna Arceneaux anchors the back row with 350 digs (4.73 per set). The Pioneers will look to control the serve game early and find their offensive rhythm against a disciplined Patriot squad that thrives on balance and consistency at home. TWU has already defeated the Patriots once this season on Sept. 12 in a nonconference meeting, sweeping UTT.Â
- A LOOK AT THE COMETS: UT Dallas closes out its season looking to finish strong at home after battling through a competitive conference slate. The Comets average 11.7 kills per set on .163 hitting, led by Jane Burkhardt, who has posted 317 kills (3.37 per set), and Laura See, who adds 180 kills (.302) and a team-high 67 blocks. Setter Abby Gentner directs the offense with 600 assists (6.45 per set), while Mari Hernandez anchors the defense with 414 digs (4.70 per set). UTD's balance at the net and defensive energy at home make them a scrappy opponent. For TWU, this final match-up represents both a test of focus and a fitting close to their regular season road journey before the LSC Tournament.
- A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: TWUÂ enters the final weekend of the regular season riding momentum from back-to-back conference wins. The Pioneers average 13.0 kills per set on .208 hitting, while holding opponents to a .144 clip, ranking second in the LSC. Tori Woods leads TWU's balanced offense with 253 kills (3.29 per set), while Myracle Stockman adds 240 kills (.246). Sydney Garrison contributes 206 kills (2.42 per set), and Jonaida Donowa strengthens the front line with the team's best 101 blocks (1.12 per set). Setter Kiana Reed guides the offense with 595 assists (6.33 per set), and libero Alyssa Rojo anchors the defense with 533 digs (5.67 per set). As the team boards the bus for its final road trip of the regular season, TWU will look to keep its chemistry and confidence high while closing out conference play strong before the LSC Tournament.
