RICHARDSON, Texas (Nov. 18, 2025) – The Texas Woman's basketball team recorded two wins on the road in Colorado last week. After two career high performances,
Gabby Elliott was named the
Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Elliott earns this honor for the second straight week.
In the Pioneers win over Colorado School of Mines, Elliott scored a career high 23 points on 10-of-11 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. She also grabbed nine rebounds and recorded three blocks. She followed up her performance over the Orediggers with another career high night, scoring 24 points. Additionally, she grabbed 11 rebounds to record her second double-double of the season. On the defensive end, Elliott finished the game with a career high four blocks. On the week, she shot 64% from the field and 88.2% from the free throw line. She averaged 23.5 points and 10 rebounds - her second week averaging a double-double. She currently ranks ninth in the LSC in field goal percentage.
"Gabby continued to be strong scorer and leader on both ends of the court for us this week," TWU Head Coach
Beth Jillson said. "She continues to see the court well and makes great decisions on offense to put our team in the best positions to be successful. Gabby works hard to be her best, and she makes everyone around her better."
This marks the second LSC Player of the Week honor for the Pioneers this season.
