DENTON, Texas (Nov. 6, 2025) – For the third straight season, the Texas Woman's volleyball team was included on the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings.

In the first week of the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings, which is released in alphabetical order, the Pioneers were listed as one of the top 10 teams.

The top 10 teams in the South Central Region, which includes the Lone Star Conference and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, will be ranked weekly until the final Selection Show for the NCAA Tournament on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament, which will take place at the No. 1 seed in the region on December 4-7, 2025.
 
Of the 10 teams under consideration on the first ranking, five teams were from the LSC –Angelo State, Dallas Baptist, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M and TWU. The five remaining teams were from the RMAC –  Colorado Mesa, Colorado School of Mines, CSU Pueblo, MSU Denver and UCCS. 
 
TWU (16-8, 9-4), who is currently ranked No. 4 in the Division II in blocks, have four more matches to play in the regular season. They will meet Oklahoma Christian tonight in Kitty Magee Arena, followed by a home match tomorrow night. Then, they will close out their regular season slate on the road against UT Tyler on Nov. 14 and UT Dallas on Nov. 15. 
 
TWU currently ranks second in the LSC in lowest opponent hitting percentage (.138), second in points (16.93), first in blocks (2.64 per set) and second in digs (19.00 per set).
