DENTON, Texas (Dec. 2, 2025) – To ring in the holiday season, the Texas Woman's athletic department will host its annual Holiday Spectacular on Sunday, Dec. 7.
 
The name spectacular truly embodies what the entire event will be. Three TWU teams will be featured at the event, showcasing their skills and talents in celebration of the holidays.
 
Doors for the event will open at 12:30 p.m. Artistic Swimming will kick off the Spectacular in the Pioneer Hall Pool at 1:30 p.m. In their fifth year of competition, the Artistic Swimming team will showcase a holiday-themed routine.
 
At 2 p.m., TWU Gymnastics will compete against each other in an intrasquad, with the athletes being split up into two teams. March-in for the gymnastics team will begin at 1:55 p.m. 
 
Gymnastics will start off on vault and bars before ending the afternoon on beam and floor. After the fourth and final rotation, the Pioneer gymnasts will perform their annual holiday dance with the help of the help special holiday guest: Santa! Between rotations two and three, the TWU Pioneer Pride Dance Team will perform a holiday routine. 

Following the conclusion of the gymnastics meet, fans will be able to take pictures with Santa.
 
All guests will be admitted for free to all events on Sunday. Arrive early to receive a Holiday Spectacular t-shirt. The first 250 fans will receive a free t-shirt.
