DENTON, Texas. (Feb. 1, 2025) - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship Wrestling Championship tournament kicks off today in Colorado Springs, Colo., and the Texas Woman's University wrestling team is ready to compete for top honors.
The Pioneers are set to make their mark as they aim to secure crucial victories and earn qualifying spots for the upcoming Regional tournament later this month. With a strong lineup, TWU is looking to build on its momentum and solidify its position in the national conversation.

TWU heads into the RMAC Championship after a mixed performance in their final regular season duals. The Pioneers dominated Lyon College, securing a 41-1 victory, but faced a narrow 23-19 defeat at the hands of Schreiner University's Mountaineers in a highly competitive match. Several Pioneer wrestlers went undefeated on the night, finishing 2-0, and are eager to carry that success into the championship tournament.
