COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 3, 2026) - For the third consecutive year, Texas Woman's wrestling has earned recognition on the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference First Team, with senior Maegan Flaherty receiving the honor.

Flaherty was one of 11 wrestlers selected from five institutions; Adams State, Chadron State, Colorado Mesa, Simon Fraser and Texas Woman's, to the RMAC Academic All-Conference First Team. The honor recognizes student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, highlighting their commitment to success in the classroom and in competition.

A senior from Prosper, Texas, Flaherty has compiled an impressive 3.91 GPA while majoring in marketing and business administration. She competes in the 145-pound weight class and has been a key contributor to the Pioneers' program during her collegiate career.

The RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, complete two consecutive semesters at their current institution and participate in a season of competition. To be eligible for First Team Academic All-RMAC honors, student-athletes must meet those criteria while maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Flaherty's recognition reflects not only her academic discipline but also her dedication to balancing the demands of collegiate athletics with excellence in the classroom.
