Dear wrestling,

You have given me so much more than I could explain. Wrestling has always welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to become the person I have always imagined in my mind. You gave me the opportunity to grow and change in ways I wouldn't have otherwise. You've taught me what hard work, pushing past perceived limits, and taking a chance on myself really meant. The confidence, self-discipline, and mental strength are something I could've never predicted. You've allowed me to build life-long friendships, meet mentors who invested in my success, find joy in the hardships, and allow me to feel like I could do anything.

I am so grateful to have the privilege of being an athlete in my life, and if I had to choose all over again, I'd choose to wrestle every time.
