Dear Wrestling,

You are the foundation upon which I have built myself. Because of my years in the mat room, I have grown to understand and love myself. I gained the confidence to take on my challenges, the awareness to think self-critically, and a community willing to support me in my goals and be with me every step of the way.

You have taught me that my dreams are always within reach, and I have the skills to chase them. To me, you were never just a sport. You were a life lesson, one that I will continue to learn from even after our time is up.
