Dear Gymnastics,
It's hard to find the right words to say goodbye to something that has been part of my life for the past 14 years. You've been more than just a sport; you've been my greatest teacher, toughest challenge, biggest joy, and sometimes deepest struggle. You've seen me at my strongest and my most vulnerable, and somehow, you brought out the best in me through it all.
You taught me how to push through fear, fight for every tenth, and keep going when my body and mind were completely exhausted. You taught me discipline, grit, and grace, not just in the gym but also in life. Because of you, I've learned how to stay strong, even when things get tough.Â
For 14 years, you've filled my life with unforgettable memories, life-changing friendships, and a second family I'll forever hold close. You've taken me to places I never imagined, challenged me beyond my limits, and helped me grow into the person I am today. I've felt the joy of victory and the sting of setbacks, and both taught me something I'll carry forever.
Thank you so much for bringing me to TWU and for letting me be a part of this incredible program. I couldn't imagine my life these past five years without gymnastics and without every teammate and coach who has poured their heart into this journey with me. You've given me more than I ever knew to ask for, and I'll always be grateful.
