DENTON, Texas (March 10, 2026) - Texas Woman's softball pitcher Randi Crawford was named Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week following her standout performances in the circle during the Pioneers' four-game road trip against UTPB and No. 7 Angelo State.

The Blossom, Texas, native went 2-0 in two starts, tossing 12 innings with a 2.68 ERA while allowing just one earned run on five hits. Crawford struck out 11 batters and issued only one walk during the week as opponents managed just a .122 batting average against her.

Crawford highlighted the week with a complete-game, one-hit shutout in a 1-0 victory over No. 7 Angelo State. The sophomore right-hander struck out five and walked just one while retiring the final five hitters of the game to secure the win. The performance marked the Pioneers' third shutout of the season and handed the Rambelles their first scoreless outing in Lone Star Conference play.

"Randi is so deserving of this honor," head coach Gay McNutt said. "She had a great outing against UTPB, and I cannot say enough about her win over Angelo State."

Crawford's performances helped the Pioneers to a 3-1 week on the road, including a sweep of UTPB and a split with the nationally ranked Rambelles, as Texas Woman's improved to 6-2 in its last eight conference games.

Texas Woman's will look to continue their momentum on the road against Rogers State tomorrow in Claremore, Okla., at 2 and 4 p.m.
