TUCSON, Ariz. (March 15, 2026) - Texas Woman's gymnastics closed out the regular season in Tucson on Friday for their fifth quad meet of the season, competing against host Arizona, Ohio State and Southeast Missouri State. The Pioneers finished the meet with a 194.325 score, placing third in the team standings.
TWU scored a team total of 48.625 on vault, with Sophia Isbell leading with a 9.8, continuing her consistency with scores of at least 9.8 in every event but one.
Tied for their best event of the meet on uneven bars, TWU compiled a team score of 48.65. Caroline Bowns led the Pioneers in this event with a 9.875, setting a season-high score and finishing just 0.025 points shy of her career best.
The Pioneers scored a total of 48.425 on the balance beam. Ruby Goad led the team in this event with a 9.825 performance, 0.025 points shy of her career best.
Leading the way in another 48.65 team score for TWU on floor exercise was Kyleigh Ghanbari with a 9.9, matching her season high for a second time and finishing 0.025 points shy of her career high.
The Pioneers claimed third place in the meet with a 194.325. Ohio State took first with a 196.65, Arizona finished second with a 196.3, and Southeast Missouri State placed fourth with a 194.225.
