Dear wrestling,

As I sit here thinking of what to write, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for you. I truly started wrestling just for a Letterman jacket—little did I know how far it would go.

You were very much a love-hate relationship, but I'm okay with that. You taught me that I can push myself beyond what I thought was possible. You brought along friends, memories, and experiences that I will carry with me.

You introduced me to coaches who impacted me in every good way possible, to the point where I now find myself stepping into a coaching role. I'd be a fool to say I wouldn't do it all over again.
