DENTON, Texas (March 21, 2018) - Schyler Jones of Texas Woman's Gymnastics has been voted the Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) Gymnast of the Week for her fourth weekly honor in 2018 as announced Wednesday.
 
Jones posted a career-high 39.400 in all-around versus top-ranked Oklahoma Sunday. The senior from Denton also matched career-bests on bars with a 9.800 and on floor with a 9.900. On vault and floor, Jones was the high-finisher for TWU and beat out three OU gymnasts on each event.
 
This is the third Gymnast of the Week honor this season for Jones as she also has one Performance of the Week accolade.
 
Jones and the Pioneers travel to the MIC Championships Friday for a 6 p.m. meet.
