DENTON — Last week, the Lone Star Conference announced its honor roll for the 2019 spring semester, consisting of 1,176 student-athletes.
The Pioneers placed 76.956 % of their student-athletes and student-athletic trainers on the honor roll with 32 of the 72 honorees earning perfect 4.0 GPAs.
As a department, the Pioneers produced a record-setting semester, with a 3.601 GPA, its highest all-time – extending its streak to 74 consecutive semesters (37 years) of posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
