DENTON, Texas - A 15-match home schedule, including a five-team tournament to open the home portion of the slate are among the highlights of the 2021 Texas Woman's University Pioneers volleyball schedule, announced Monday by head coach Jeff Huebner. 

"This year's schedule is a great opportunity for our program to continue to improve and grow," said Huebner. "In preseason we play teams from some of the best conferences in the country. We were able to schedule teams from the GLVC, MIAA, SSC, SIAC and GAC to give a truly national experience for our athletes. We are especially excited to host 15 Matches this year in KMA including our own tournament! The opportunity to compete in the one of the best venues and our favorite fans is a joy for our program."

After opening the campaign on the road at the Drury Invitational on September 3-4 (times and opponents TBD), the Pioneers open the home portion of the schedule on September 9-11 with the Pioneer Invitational, featuring TWU, Florida Tech, Southwestern Oklahoma, Ouachita Baptist, and Southwest Baptist. After a non-conference tilt at home against East Central on Tuesday, September 14, TWU plays host to the first Lone Star Conference matches of the season on Sept. 17-18 against St. Edward's and St. Mary's. 

TWU closes the home portion of its schedule on Saturday, Nov. 2 against Western New Mexico and follows with a road swing at West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico on the regular season's final weekend, November 12-13.
