CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas (Feb. 11, 2023) - In a rematch against University of the Ozarks, Texas Woman's wrestling fell to the Eagles 20-19. 
 
Four Pioneers recorded points this afternoon including Mackenzie Peterson (109), Ploy Timpanee (130), Zanya Walker (143), and Angela Archuleta (191).
 
Peterson in the 109-weight class was first to the mat and recorded an early win by technical fall against Isabella Cruz for five points. 
 
In a 14-2 decision Walker defeated Ilee Basaldua by technical fall at 4:50. 
 
Timpanee and Archuleta won by forfeit for a total of five points. 
 
The Pioneers season is not over yet. The NCWWC Regionals take place on Feb. 19 beginning at 9 a.m. More information will be released later.
