#1 IN TOWN

A LOOK AT DBU: The Patriots remain unbeaten and hold the No. 1 national ranking, marking the best start in program history. They come off a 4–1 victory over UT Dallas, powered by Anne Louthan's four-goal performance—the first Patriot to score four in a single game since 2012. Louthan leads DBU with seven goals this season. Between the posts, goalkeeper Madi Martin has been a rock, recording six shutouts and allowing only five goals in 11 matches. The all-time series heavily favors DBU, which leads 15-8-3. The last time TWU faced a No. 1-ranked DBU was in 2022, resulting in a 2–0 loss for the Pioneers.

FIRST MEETING WITH UTD

A LOOK AT UTD: Saturday's matchup marks the first-ever meeting between TWU and the University of Texas at Dallas. The Comets enter off a 1–0 shutout win over Lubbock Christian, led by a defensive core including Kira Schkade, Aubree Wilson, and Lina Ullen, who each played all 90 minutes. UTD is looking to bounce back after last week's 4–1 loss to DBU. The Comets trail TWU in conference standings, making Saturday's result a potential game-changer in the Lone Star Conference hierarchy.
