THROUGH THE NET
- A LOOK AT THE RAMBELLES: The Rambelles (13–6, 7–1) arrive in Denton near the top of the conference standings, and they are receiving votes in the AVCA National Coaches Poll. Angelo State's balanced offense averages 13.1 kills per set on .236 hitting, led by outside hitters Madi Parrish (3.25 k/s) and Julia Hopkins (2.87 k/s). ASU operates a 6–2 offense behind setters Madison Scrivner (6.15 a/s) and Gabi Ashcraft (4.38 a/s), keeping the tempo fast and unpredictable. Libero Ireland Ferguson anchors the back row with 4.26 digs per set, helping the Rambelles limit opponents to just .131 hitting. The Pioneers' ability to serve aggressively and control first contact will be critical in slowing down Angelo State's quick offensive rhythm.
- A LOOK AT THE FALCONS: The Falcons (6–12, 4–4) travel to Denton looking to rebound after a road loss to Angelo State. UTPB averages 11.9 kills per set on .165 hitting, led by senior outside hitter Ashlee Macias (4.03 k/s, .234 hitting). Setter Kierra Freeman guides the attack with 7.46 assists per set, while liberos Kyndall Torres and Isabel Rodriguez combine to anchor the Falcons' back-row defense, helping UTPB collect 17.0 digs per set as a team. The Falcons also add 1.6 aces per set and 1.6 blocks per set, relying on long rallies and serve pressure to create scoring chances. To earn the victory, TWU will look to stay consistent in serve-receive, limit Macias' touches, and use its size advantage at the net to control the pace of play.
- A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: The Pioneers (12–7, 5–3) continue to display a balanced and disciplined style of play on both sides of the ball.
