FINAL CHAPTER AT KMA
- A LOOK AT THE EAGLES: OC enters the weekend as one of the most efficient offensive teams in the league, averaging 13.1 kills per set on .229 hitting. The Eagles operate a 6–2 offense with setters Sophie Mae Smith and Summer Van Meerveld, keeping the attack balanced and fast-paced. Outside hitters Annie Davis (3.11 k/s, .210) and Chloe Jones (2.64 k/s, .217) lead the scoring efforts, while middle blocker Camryn McGough (.384 hitting, 0.94 blocks per set) adds consistency and net presence. Libero Macey Nehring anchors the back row with 4.01 digs per set, helping OC maintain strong defensive structure and transition efficiency. The Eagles' dual-setter system and offensive balance will challenge TWU's block timing and serve-receive pressure.
- A LOOK AT THE AGGIES: Cameron (7–19, 3–10 LSC) travels to Denton on Friday night in their final roadtrip of the regular season. The Aggies average 10.3 kills per set on .133 hitting and operate a 6–2 offense featuring setters Rachel White and Kayla Quintana. The balanced attack is led by Anastasija Andelic (1.84 k/s, .169), Jennifer Valdez (1.70 k/s, .215), and Presleigh Roest (1.51 k/s, .150). Andelic also leads the team defensively with 3.70 digs per set, while Cameron averages 1.6 blocks per set and 1.4 aces per set, relying on serve pressure and extended rallies to generate scoring chances.
- A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: TWU continues to shine as one of the most defensively dominant teams in the LSC. The Pioneers lead the LSC in total blocks (230) and blocks per set (2.64) while ranking second in digs (19.0 per set). Offensively, TWU averages 12.6 kills per set on .205 hitting, powered by Stockman (2.55 k/s) and Woods (3.14 k/s). Middle blocker Jonaida Donowa anchors the front line with 1.20 blocks per set, and libero Alyssa Rojo, the reigning LSC Defensive Player of the Week, leads the back court with an impressive 5.55 digs per set, ranking first in the LSC in digs per set. In TWU's 6–2 offense, setters Kiana Reed and Lorena Gomez combine for nearly 12 assists per set, while Cat Millsap provides a spark behind the service line, leading the team with 25 aces. With the conference's top blocking unit and a senior-led core, the Pioneers aim to defend KMA one final time, celebrate their graduating class and carry momentum into their final week of the regular season.
