COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 3, 2025) - The Texas Woman's Wrestling team has been named the 2024–25 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Brechler Award winner, earning the highest team grade-point average in the conference with a 3.413.

The RMAC Brechler Awards recognize the top team GPAs in each of the conference's 22 NCAA-sponsored sports. The award is presented annually to the team with the highest GPA—calculated to the thousandth decimal point—among all student-athletes listed on an institution's NCAA eligibility roster.

"I'm incredibly proud of the team's dedication and hard work," said Head Coach Randi Miller. "They set a clear goal together regarding their GPA, and it's inspiring to see them achieve this award through their collective effort and perseverance."

A testament to the program's consistent success off the mat, two Pioneers earned RMAC First Team Academic All-Conference honors for the second straight year in March. Additionally, two more wrestlers were named to the 2024–25 Academic Honor Roll.

The Brechler Awards are named in honor of former RMAC Commissioner Paul W. Brechler (1976–90) and his wife, Wanda, who were the first inductees into the RMAC Hall of Fame. Each team GPA is determined by dividing total quality points by total credit hours for each semester. Final GPAs were submitted by each institution's compliance administrator.
