- IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DEFENSE: In 2021, the Pioneers have held their opponents to an average field goal percentage of 35%. Against UAFS, the Pioneers forced 32 turnovers, which is their most this season in four quarters of action (TWU forced 33 turnovers in their triple overtime win over MSU-Denver).
- BIG BENCH CONTRIBUTORS: The Pioneers bench scored 35 points in their win Thursday night. The bench was led by Ngozi Obineke with her season high of 10 points.
- CRASH THE GLASS: TWU out-rebounded UAFS 46-36. Agang Tac stands as the Pioneers leading rebounder with 41 on the season. She grabbed eight on Thursday night and currently averages 5.9 per game.
EXTRA POINTS
STAT STEALERS: Although the Eagles are currently 0-4, they have lost their games by just an average margin of nine points. The Eagles two leading scorers are Brooklin Bain and Kate Bradley. Bain is averaging 16.3 points per game and Bradley averages 14.8. To get a win over OC, the Pioneers will have to look to limit the scoring of Bain and Bradley.
OKLA(HOME)A: Sadie Moyer is the only Pioneer on roster who came from outside of Texas. She grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, which is about an hour-and-a-half from Oklahoma City. As Moyer returns to Oklahoma, fans can expect her to bring a lot of energy.
