DENTON, Texas – The Texas Woman's University gymnastics team will be hosting a free kid's clinic after their home meet on Sunday, Jan. 30.
"We are so excited to have the kid's clinic back this year," TWU head coach
Lisa Bowerman said. "It is truly one of our favorite events of the season. Our team and coaches look forward to interacting with our young fans and giving them the opportunity to experience gymnastics in KMA."
On Sunday, Jan. 30, the Pioneers will compete against Centenary College of Louisiana in Kitty Magee Arena. Immediately following the conclusion of the meet, TWU athletes and coaches will host the clinic on the Pioneers competition equipment in KMA.
The clinic is open to girls eighth grade and younger and will be free of charge. For one hour, the kids will have the opportunity to go through skills with Pioneer gymnasts.
To register for the clinic, please arrive at KMA prior to the meet. There will be a sign-up table at the entrance where kids can sign-up and receive a wristband. The sign-ups will be first-come first-serve and are limited to the first 100 kids.
Following the conclusion of the meet, those with their wristbands will be invited onto the floor for the clinic.
