TRIPLE THREAT
- ROAD WARRIORS: Out of the 19 games the Pioneers have played, seven of them have been on the road. The Pioneers have a 6-1 record on the road, which ties Texas A&M – Commerce for the best road record in the LSC. It's simple – TWU finds ways to win on the road.
- FLASH FROM THE PAST: LCU's last loss was against Angelo State. In the loss, the Lady Chaps only had two fast break points to the Rambelles 12 fast break points. It will be key for the Pioneers to take advantage of their defensive pressure and possible deflections, and get out and run to convert fast break points on the Lady Chaps. Also in their last loss, LCU went 1-14 from the 3-point line—their average from the three is 33%. The Pioneers need to defend the 3-point line to limit the scoring of the Lady Chaps.
- TEAM TWU: The Pioneers have relied on total team efforts to get their 14 wins this season. Last game against ENMU, TWU had four players in double figures. Outside of scoring, every player stepped up to make a difference—Kayla Glover had five assists and Keslyn King grabbed nine rebounds to help the Pioneers get the win. On Saturday, TWU will need sparks from every player to get their eighth win in conference and seventh win on the road.
