A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: The Pioneers are coming off their second consecutive win after 1-0 victories over Texas Permian Basin and Sul Ross State. Goals by Dani Pruitt and Giselle Gutierrez helped improve the Pioneers' placement in the conference as TWU now sits in fourth place with a 5-2-3 conference record.

PIONEERS IN THE RANKINGS: The Pioneers have 10 shutouts so far this year and rank third in the LSC for their goals against average (.67) and for goals allowed (10), which may pose a challenge for the Lady Buffs. Alternately, the Lady Buffs rank fifth in saves (80) with a save percentage of .748. The attacking pressure by leading score Gutierrez and the rest of the Pioneer front will look to score early and often on Friday to secure the win. A 186 shots 161 advantage could be the determining factor in this match.
TWU will face the Lady Buffs tomorrow at Pioneer Soccer Park as they seek to improve their home conference record. The match begins at 3 p.m.
