From having the longest winning streak since 2006 in program history to entering the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015, the Pioneers are ready to continue the historical run. With Malia Viernes selected to the All-Tournament team, the Pioneers will go into their first round match strong and prepared to face the Roadrunners.
- HISTORY IN THE MAKING: TWU and MSU Denver have only played each other a total of five times with the Pioneers falling each time; however, the Pioneers and the Roadrunners haven't played each other in 26 years.
