MEETING WITH THE RAMBELLES AND FALCONS
- FIRST MEETINGS OF THE SEASON: The Pioneers have a 15-15 all-time home record against Angelo State but have lost the last three meetings between the two teams. - DOMINATING INSIDE: In their last two games, the Pioneers out-rebounded and out-scored both of their opponents in the paint. TWU ranks second in the LSC in scoring and third in defensive rebounds. Ashley Ingram led the way for the Pioneers, averaging a double-double, 22.5 points and 10 rebounds, in their last two matchups. She currently ranks first in the LSC in field goal percentage, second in scoring, and fifth in rebounding.
- OFFENSIVE EFFICIENCY: Against TAMIU on Feb. 15, TWU scored their most points on the season after having two 30-point quarters for the first time since the 2016-17 season. Leila Patel had a career high 27 points on 59% shooting and a career high seven rebounds. Ingram recorded her 14th double-double on the year against TAMUKÂ on Feb. 17, after scoring 28 points and grabbing 10 boards. Look for these two stats to be key this week.
