COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Feb. 20, 2025) - As the Texas Women's Wrestling team prepares to host the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship Regionals, Brooke Zejda has earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors.

Zejda was named to the second team for her first career All-Conference award. The Dallas native was one of several wrestlers in the conference who received recognition across both the first and second teams.

Zejda's impressive season featured strong performances at various tournaments, including multiple top-five finishes. She also stood out in duals, recording an 11-0 tech fall victory against Tarleton State, a 10-9 decision win over Simon Fraser, and a 16-4 tech fall win over Chadron State. At the RMAC Tournament Championships, she claimed second place.

"I'm very proud of Brooke's career here at TWU," said Head Coach Randi Miller. "In just a short time, she has developed into a great student-athlete."

Zejda and the Pioneers are set to compete at a high level this Saturday in the Regional tournament, aiming for a spot at the NCWWC Nationals in Coralville, Iowa. The event will take place at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton, Texas, with competition approximately beginning at 10 a.m.
