FRISCO, Texas (March 5, 2025) – Prior to the first game of the Lone Star Conference Tournament, the Texas Woman's basketball team celebrated the regular season at the 2025 LSC Tournament Banquet.
After going 21-1 in conference action in the regular season, the Pioneers claimed their third straight LSC Regular Season Title and East Division Title.
Following the team title celebrations at the banquet, the 2025 All-LSC awards were announced. Four Pioneers were honored with all-conference awards, marking the third straight season TWU has celebrated four all-conference honorees. The LSC Head Coaches vote for the all-conference awards and individual awards, while the Sports Information Directors vote for the All-Academic Team honorees.
Averee Kleinhans was named the LSC Sixth Woman of the Year, becoming the first Pioneer to earn the award in program history.
During the 2024-25 season, Kleinhans averages 9.2 points per game, has 42 steals and 86 rebounds, and has dished out 56 assists off the bench for the Pioneers. She also averages 79.2% from the free throw line, which ranks sixth in the LSC. She hit a career high 26 points on Feb. 27.
Kleinhans was also named Third Team All-LSC, marking the first All-LSC honor of her career.

Beth Jillson said. "I am so proud of the work she has put in all season and continues to put in everyday to bring her best for the team. Averee always looks for the best way to contribute to team success. She brings a tangible passion to the game that is infectious. While we get to see the work she puts in, it is incredible to see her recognized by the coaches in the LSC for her tenacity, passion and skill."
Ashley Ingram earned First Team All-LSC honors for the fourth time in her career. She also added her first career All-Defensive Team honor, as she became the fifth Pioneer in program history to earn this accolade.
In her senior season, Ingram currently averages 15.3 points per game, which ranks fifth in the LSC. Sha also averages 9.2 rebounds, which ranks third in the LSC. In the regular season, Ingram has grabbed 41 steals, recorded 20 blocks and dished out 110 assists. Ingram ranks fourth in the LSC in assists per game with 3.8. She averages 49.1% from the field and 81.2% from the charity stripe. Ingram has 13 double-doubles on the season.
During the regular season, Ingram became the all-time leading scorer in program history and the all-time leading rebounder in program history. Additionally, she eclipsed 1,000 career rebounds, becoming the first Pioneer to surpass 1,000 rebounds. She currently stands as the only Pioneer to be ranked in the top 10 in program history in points, rebounds, blocks, assists and steals.
Ingram also added her third straight All-Academic Team honor. She is majoring in Kinesiology – Pre-Occupational Therapy and boasts a 3.877 GPA.
Joining Ingram on the first team was
Scout Huffman, who celebrated her first career First Team All-LSC honor. It also marked her second straight All-LSC accolade.
Huffman currently averages 11.4 points per game and is shooting 59.6% from the field, which ranks second in the LSC. Additionally, she is 35-of-36 from the free throw line on the season and 47.8% from the three point line. She averages 4.4 rebounds per game. She has a season high of 22 points on the season, five steals and seven rebounds.
Earning her second straight Second Team All-LSC honor was senior
Leila Patel.
Patel started in all 29 of the Pioneers' games. She currently averages 9.4 points per game. She is shooting 42.1% from the field and 72.2% from the free throw line. She is averaging 3.5 rebounds per game and has recorded 56 assists on the season.
"I am so proud of Ashley, Leila and Scout," Coach Jillson said. "Not only are they incredible players on the court, but they are also amazing leaders for our team. They go above and beyond to bring their best for our team. They are selfless in their leadership and are always inspiring those around them to bring their best in all they do. I am truly grateful to coach this talented team, and I am excited for every opportunity to coach this incredible group of young women."
It marked the first year in program history the Pioneers have celebrated a First, Second and Third Team All-LSC honor.
The Pioneers will play in the first round of the LSC tournament on Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m. against the eight seed, UT Permian Basin.
