AUSTIN, Texas (April 16, 2025) – For the second straight season,
Ashley Ingram has been named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American.
Ingram, who was named to the First Team Academic All-American team last season, added the Second Team honor for her final season with the Pioneers.
She becomes just the second Pioneer in program history to be named a two-time Academic All-American.
Ingram will graduate with a degree from TWU this spring in Kinesiology – Pre-Occupational Therapy and plans to pursue her doctorate in Occupational Therapy through TWU.
According to the CSC, "Academic All-American is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. The all-time list of 40,000+ Academic All-Americans includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science and the arts. Established in 1952 and selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), Academic All-America is the longest running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges and Canadian institutions."
Ingram was named a 2025 CSC Academic All-District member and was then advanced to the All-America ballot by a committee. Once the All-America ballot was determined, CSC members voted for the All-America teams.
Along with being named an All-District winner, Ingram was also named an LSC All-Academic honoree.
She currently boasts a 3.87 grade point average and will graduate with Honors from TWU.
"Ashley has always been committed to bringing her best in everything she does, and that shows in this honor," TWU Basketball Head Coach
Beth Jillson said. "She pursues excellence on the court and in the classroom, and I am so proud to see everything she has accomplished as a Pioneer."
