DENTON, Texas (June 26, 2025) - Ten student-athletes from the Texas Woman's STUNT team have been named to the 2025 College STUNT Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 24 credit hours during the academic year.
The Pioneers recognized are: Alicia Kenney, Allison Schneider, Anna Cheek, Belice Lind, Brooke Speights, Fernanda Lopez, Kyla Clark, NaKarla Arriola, Tanith Chappie, and Iris Cheung.
Kenney and Chappie led the group with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Kenney is majoring in education, while Chappie is pursuing a degree in medical technology.
Senior Brooke Speights and junior Bella Lind followed closely behind, each earning a 3.9 GPA. Speights is majoring in accounting, and Lind in nursing.
Sophomore Kyla Clark posted a 3.885 GPA, also as a nursing major. Fellow nursing major NaKarla Arriola earned a 3.857 GPA.
Freshman Fernanda Lopez completed her first year at TWU with a 3.7 GPA as a history major. Iris Cheung, also a freshman, posted a 3.692 GPA while majoring in kinesiology.
Anna Cheek, a junior marketing major and Lone Star Conference MVP, finished the year with a 3.6 GPA. Senior captain Allison Schneider closed out her final semesters with a 3.550 GPA, majoring in kinesiology pre-physical therapy.
This marks the largest number of Pioneers ever selected to the CSCA Academic Honor Roll. In 2024, six TWU athletes earned the honor, continuing a four-year streak of five or more student-athletes being recognized.
