RICHARDSON, Texas (Jan. 19, 2026) – For the third time this season,
Gabby Elliott has been named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
In TWU's wins over St. Mary's and St. Edward's, Elliott led the Pioneers by averaging 24.5 points per game and nine rebounds per game. She shot 72.4% from the field on the week.
In the win over St. Mary's, she finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds— her seventh double-double of the season. She also dished out a career high five assists in the win over the Rattlers. Against SEU, she scored 19 points in the first 14 minutes of game time, on her way to scoring a career high 27 points on 11-of-12 from the field.
Elliott currently ranks fourth in the LSC in points per game (16.8), first in rebounds per game (10.9) and third in field goal percentage (55.6%). Her rebounding average also ranks 11th in Division II. On the defensive end, she also ranks third in the conference in blocks per game, averaging two.
"Gabby has continued to be a consistent force in the paint for us," said TWU Basketball Head Coach
Beth Jillson. "She works hard in practice, and it shows in the way she plays with all-out effort and passion."
This marks Elliott's fifth overall LSC Player of the Week honor of the season.
