DENTON, Texas (Feb. 22, 2026) - Texas Woman's Gymnastics hosted their first quad meet at Kitty Magee Arena, competing against Arizona State, Kent State and Oregon State. The first home meet since Jan. 16 worked in the Pioneers' favor, as TWU has now reached the 195-point team threshold for three consecutive meets, finishing first in team points with a 195.975.
TWU began the meet on vault, scoring a team total of 48.925. Sophia Isbell led the team with a 9.85, entering a four-way tie for individual best and matching a career high for the second time. Kyleigh Ghanbari finished the event in a four-way tie for fifth and set a new career high with a 9.825.
Moving to the uneven bars next, the Pioneers tallied a team total of 48.950. Bailey Bourgeois and Brooke Ferrari tied for top individual scores with 9.825 each. Jordan Loock set a new career high in the event, scoring a 9.800.
On beam, TWU scored a team total of 49.025, setting a new season best. Leading the way was Isbell, finishing in a tie for first with a 9.875 to match her career high. Alaina Reid and Ruby Goad both scored a 9.850 to finish in a three-way tie for third. The score matched a career high for Goad and set a new one for Reid.
Wrapping up with the floor routine, the Pioneers totaled a 49.075. Leading the way was Sophie Hernandez with a 9.875 to finish in a three-way tie for first, matching her season high for the fourth time.
TWU claimed the win with a team score of 195.975, with Oregon State finishing second at 195.775, Arizona State third at 195.550 and Kent State fourth at 195.075.
The Pioneers will be back at KMA for another quad meet Thursday, Feb. 27, hosting Florida, Arizona State and Fisk.
