RICHARDSON, Texas (Feb. 9, 2026) - After recording back-to back double-doubles in two strong wins, Gabby Elliott claimed her fourth Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

Elliott helped lead the Pioneers to wins over UT Tyler and No. 20 Lubbock Christian last week. In the win against UT Tyler, Elliott finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds to record her ninth double-double of the season. Then, she followed up her performance on Saturday with her 10th double-double of the season, scoring 18 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Across the two games, Elliott averaged 61.5% from the field. Additionally, Elliott officially eclipsed 1,000 career points on her career this week.

She currently ranks third in the LSC in scoring, averaging 16.7 points per game. Elliott also ranks first in the LSC in rebounds per game with 11.1 boards per game, which also ranks 10th in NCAA Division II. She ranks third in field goal percentage in the LSC, shooting 54.6% from the field on average. Finally, she ranks third in blocked shots per game with 1.6 blocks per game.

"Gabby continues to be an elite scorer, defender and rebounder for us," said TWU Basketball Head Coach Beth Jillson. "Gabby's strength comes from her desire to bring her best and make those around her better in all she does. Of her 28 rebounds this weekend, 11 them were offensive for Gabby, which just goes to show she seeks out the ball and looks to make a positive impact in every trip down the court."
