RICHARDSON, Texas (Nov. 11, 2025) – After opening the season at home with two strong performances,
Gabby Elliott was named the
Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
In the Pioneers win over Wayne State, Elliott scored eight points and grabbed 12 rebounds, four of which were offensive boards. On her way to eight points, Elliott shot 4-of-7 from the field. She followed up her stats against Wayne State with 15 points and eight rebounds against Harding. Of the eight rebounds, five were offensive boards. Elliott shot 53.8% from the field on her way to 15 points.
Across the two games, Elliott averaged 11.5 points per game and 55% from the field. She also averaged 10 rebounds.
"Gabby was a strong leader for us this weekend," TWU Head Coach
Beth Jillson said. "She made smart decisions on offense, and she battled on the boards to put us in a strong position for success. We are proud of her for receiving this honor."
Elliott was also named to the D2CCA Tip Off Classic All-Tournament team.
This marks the first LSC Player of the Week honor for the Pioneers this season.
