Texas Woman's University Athletics

Southard served as the TWU Director of Athletics from 1992-01. During her time with the Pioneers, she oversaw the institution of the Athletics Hall of Fame, and she brought back softball to the athletic department at TWU. She was also instrumental in laying the groundwork for the start of soccer at TWU, which began its inaugural season in 2002. A champion for student success and athletic excellence, Southard had an impactful career as a leader at TWU.
