"I am so proud of how our team closed out the regular season," TWU Gymnastics Head Coach
Lisa Bowerman said. "
Sophia Isbell had another solid meet for us. She had great performances on all three events. On beam, she followed a fall and handled it beautifully. Additionally, Alaina had a great night for us. She entered the bar lineup after expecting to exhibition and also reentered the beam lineup – she performed incredibly in both events. She continues to impress me with her ability to stay ready, step on and fill any role whenever she is called on, which is huge for a freshman to develop so early in her career."
The Pioneers will compete in the Midwest Independent Conference Championships on Friday, March 21 at Centenary College.
